The BCS DMSG is hosting  a “Data Surgery” where attendees can raise and discuss data management issues and challenges that they may be experiencing relating to data modelling, data migration, data integration, governance, quality, data risk and value. The event is free, so could be an excellent opportunity for those interested, to overcome some of their data management challenges. A link to the event page and booking is here.

On the 24th October the event will be about NoSQL, but more importantly it will be the DMSG AGM. This is also an opportunity for anyone who may be interested in how the Group is run to find out more.  The DMSG is always looking for new faces for the committee, so if you are interested in finding out more about a specific committee post or DMSG activities more generally, feel free to get in contact.
